Two alpha males are set to take TV by storm when Man Up airs its pilot episode on ABS-CBN Sports+Action on Sunday, May 24.
Jeron Teng is DLSU’s hotshot swing man while Robi Domingo is a rising TV personality and host.
Directed by Krizzie Syfu, Man Up’s first three episodes have already been shot, and they involve the duo trying out football, boxing, and dragon boat rowing.
Excerpts from the football and boxing excerpts were shown to the media at the press conference on Monday in Komrad restaurant in Eastwood Mall. The show looks like it will be fun, and definitely a notch above most lifestyle shows.
Teng said that his UAAP team are supportive of his hosting the show, and that by the time the collegiate hoops season begins in September, the eighth and final episode of the first season will be in the can and ready for airing, so he can concentrate on basketball and his studies.
The show’s production staff also informed us that videos of Man Up will be available on demand at iwanttv.com.
Tune in to ABS-CBN Sports+Action on Sunday at 11:30 am for the maiden episode of Man Up.
